I am learning this one for the All Volunteer String Band. I might post it soon, if I have a suitable recording of it. I have come to realize that in addition to learning the barn dance band's version, I should cobble together a soloist version with a few more pyrotechnics, double stops and variations just to keep things interesting in case I am so led to conduct a fiddle filibuster sans band. I will have to study your version to glean what I can from it.

I appreciate all of your nice comments. Mike, if you ever use open tunings, try this one in AEAE. It makes it easier to play drones.

This is great, your fiddle style sounds a little bit like Fred Stoneking's especially in this one, have you heard his fiddling ?
