I'm pulling out my Gaspe tunes today for recording .... Tony Drody taught me a tune popular in Douglastown at the time ... Fat Molassas ...... Erskin Morris could really play the great authentic version of this French tune ..... how Im playing it today is how I remember Tony showing me, more or less .... I can't get the fancy percussion footwork going and I don't have a backup player for timing ...so Im adding my banjos to fill in the sound alittle

Hearing you play this tune made me really happy! You have a great touch with this tune. There's some licks in there I need to get from you. So cool that there are still people who are playing these tunes.
