Contra dance caller and fiddler David Kaynor giving my "new" fiddle a test drive. This is the fiddle that belonged to my grandfather back in the 1930s, but had been sitting, damaged and unplayable, for decades. Don Stackhouse (in Ohio) did some extensive work on it and restored it back to playing condition. This was recorded the same day that I got it back, at the Concord Scout House right before a contra dance (hence the sound check noises in the background). David's impromptu assessment: "Boy, I like it!"
