Here's an Irish medley from the Reiner Family Band's December 2006 concert in Key West. A friend in the audience recorded me (mandolin), my wife Cindy (bodhran), my son Andy (5-string fiddle) and my other son Eric (piano) and sent us the MP3 (not great sound quality, though).

I just love the low notes of the 5-string fiddle.  You and your wife obviously knew what you were doing when you raised your kids, judging from the final product -- accomplished musicians of excellent music.

Very impressive. Inisheer has always been one of my favorite tunes. You play it quite well. How old are your sons?

Thanks, Optimus.  We learned this tune from Rachel Maloney, a fine fiddler in Providence.

Eric's 18 and Andy's 21 -- check out their websites and bands on the link page of my Reiner Family Band website.
