This tune is played almost exactly like Kansas Old Time Fiddler, Amos Chase, played it. Amos travelled all over the US winning many Old Time Fiddle Contests back in the 60's, 70's and 80's. He is the father of one of my fiddle students and we are working on creating a website with his history. Amos is one of our few well known Kansas Old Time FIddlers and even placed at Weiser many years ago. He has a charming style to his tunes and played for many dances over the years.

Diane, I was excited when I saw this posted, and what a beautiful playing of this old lovely waltz. Your violin tone is sweet and pretty. You are a smooth player like Herman Johnson. :)
