This tune comes from splitting off three parts of John Johnson's five-part version of Forked Deer. This is my old-time band, Dirt Road Molly. I learned this tune with Larry Warren from a Massachusetts fiddler named Phil at a 4 a.m. session at Dance Flurry in Saratoga, N.Y.

I think you are the only person I know of who has heard (or plays) all 5 parts of Forked Deer. I think I heard it from Charlie Bowman.
