Key of C. I suffer for my art. And now, you must suffer, too.

I took this from O'Neill's 1001 Dance Music of Ireland. I never really mastered the B part , so I just do the A and C parts. I'm an old-time fiddler, so I can't claim any authenticity whatsoever to proper technique. I simply took the notes off the page, and I play them how I can. Love this tune!

GDGD. A solo rendition, but a favorite at the Triple Chicken Foot jams. With a half dozen fiddles, a half dozen banjos, a bass and a smattering of guitars, this tune rocks.

AEAE. Man, this is fun to play! Tough on the old bowing wrist, though.

Another chicken tune, thoroughly burned by yours truly. Key of G.

I'm not completely sure it's Mel Durham, but I think it is. I'm terrible at remembering authorship. Anyway, my wife found this performance of mine on an old recorder. One of those tunes my fingers just seem to want to play. Swirl those skirts, ladies! Key of D.

AEAE. In my dreams, this tune is played with full orchestra, arranged by Manuel de Falla.

A nice snakey, bluesy number in D. I play it kind of slow, but I like it that way.

I picked up this tune at jamming sessions, and I have no idea if this recording is even close to an "authorized" version. But I love it! And I'm gonna keep playing it! Key of D.

What's this tune? It's been going through my head. I don't think it is Spellbound, but I'm pretty sure it's a movie theme from the same 40's era. Any help?

GDGD. From Bruce Greene. A wild and wonderful fantasy, in his hands at least.

I believe this version is from Tommy Jarrell AEAE. My old Markneukirchen fiddle. That's my wife slamming the door about a quarter way through.
