I took this from O'Neill's 1001 Dance Music of Ireland. I never really mastered the B part , so I just do the A and C parts. I'm an old-time fiddler, so I can't claim any authenticity whatsoever to proper technique. I simply took the notes off the page, and I play them how I can. Love this tune!

GDGD. A solo rendition, but a favorite at the Triple Chicken Foot jams. With a half dozen fiddles, a half dozen banjos, a bass and a smattering of guitars, this tune rocks.

I'm not completely sure it's Mel Durham, but I think it is. I'm terrible at remembering authorship. Anyway, my wife found this performance of mine on an old recorder. One of those tunes my fingers just seem to want to play. Swirl those skirts, ladies! Key of D.

I believe this version is from Tommy Jarrell AEAE. My old Markneukirchen fiddle. That's my wife slamming the door about a quarter way through.
