There are plenty of other types of music you can try. It's not impossible for a fiddler to learn to play like a Gypsy, an Arab, a Huastecan, etc. The world is filled with wonderful styles of music! Learn a tarrantella, a tango, a sher, a czardas, etc. You needn't feel bound to play June Apple all your life!!
