This is here as a reminder. Remember that Soldiers Joy, Blackberry Blossom, Billy in the Low Ground and the rest are only etudes, and you might want to set your sights higher or broader. There are plenty of other types of music you can try. It's not impossible for a fiddler to learn to play like a Gypsy, an Arab, a Huastecan, etc. The world is filled with wonderful styles of music! Learn a tarrantella, a tango, a sher, a czardas, etc. You needn't feel bound to play June Apple all your life!!
