I wrote this one night after my wife lost her keys. Needless to say, I was listening to Arthur Smith that day. And my wife finally found her keys.

Just a little comparison of the same tune done differently.

I wrote this for our two pekin ducks we were keeping as pets. Their names were Oscar and Petunia. Since then, we've turned them loose in the big pond back in the woods behind our house.

From Fred Cockerham and Benton Flippen. They both played it in G (where it's supposed to go) but I'm playing it here in cross key. It's one of them slippery tunes.

This is a cut off an old album entitled "LIVE AT WPAQ" released a few years ago. It features myself on fiddle, Adam Hurt on banjo, Beth Hartness on guitar, and Buck Buckner on bass. I picked this up from Benton Flippen while playing guitar in his band the last several years. He got it from Roy Hall's Blueridge Entertainers, and made the tune his own. EADA

From Ernest East and Benton Flippen. Ernest called it Hell Among the Roundpeakers. The first part is almost all slip-chords which was Ernest's signature sound. The second part is just something I made up from something else.
