Old time cajun fiddle duet. I'm playing the low secondaire part. Brian O'Donnell is playing the melody. We play with the Cajun Strangers band. We learned this arrangement from the recent (and great) Racine's CD.

Here is my first upload to the hangout. I've only been playing for 6-9 months and I've really been bitten by the fiddle bug. Here is my version of Wayne Perry's version of Old Joe Clark recorded by Alan Lomax in June of '34

I really love the solo fiddle and vocals ala Fiddlin John Carson. I'm working on arranging Short Life of Trouble. I'll post version with vocals later. AEAE tuning.

My take on this great old tune from Alabama fiddler D. Dix Hollis. He recorded the original for Paramount in 1924.
