Here is my first upload to the hangout. I've only been playing for 6-9 months and I've really been bitten by the fiddle bug. Here is my version of Wayne Perry's version of Old Joe Clark recorded by Alan Lomax in June of '34

Very nice job on a very nice tune...
Outstanding job if you've really been playing only 9 months - You may be new to fiddling, but I bet you've played some other stringed instrument for a long time.

I found your clip after a google search on Wayne Perry. I am quite impressed in what you were able to accomplish in a brief amount of time. I second the notion that you've had some considerable musical experience prior to the fiddle. But that' my way of saying you sound great!
