I have compiled (and sell) a database of violinmakers. It's meant for luthiers and dealers who see a lot of fiddles come through their shops, but I'm willing to help people with questions they may have about one or two makers. I'm not a violin appraiser, but I have a LOT of references, and they're all indexed into my database.
