I live in Giles County Virginia, and grew up around the Reeds. Started playing old time music around 1996. I learned the fiddle in the style of Henry Reed, and started a local jam here, to preserve his music. We also started a fiddlers convention, which happens in June to honor Henry Reed. I play banjo for the Giles Mountain String Band, and fiddle for The Reed Family Band. I also Build Banjos, and have a small goat farm.
