They were in the mail when I got home from work, a two pack of fiddle fretters. I put on the gold set (to help me see them) and plan to put on the stealth set once I'm good enough to play in public.
These things are awesome. In no time (10 minutes) I'm playing St. Anne's Reel. It was a blast, and those frets make it so much easier. I noticed I was paying attention to my bowing technique instead of my left hand fingering.
These Fiddle Fretters are worth every penny. I recommend them to any fellow novice.
Give me a week or two to get good at a few different songs and I'll post them.
