Oh how young some college students are

For the second time in two years I had the pleasure of demonstrating Old Time fiddle techniques and discussing Old Time music history to a college class here in Bloomington at Indiana University.   At some point I was explaining about the origin of violins and mentioned Stradivarius.. There were about 20 college students in the class.. Not ONE had ever heard of Stradivarius...I must really be getting old..!!
