I have many but Rob McCoury (Spelling)? is a banjo player I enjoy.Also Ron Block. Kenny Baker,Paul Warren,Bobby Hicks,Byron Berline,Stuart Duncan,Chubby Wise,Benny Martin are just a few of the fiddlers that come to mind that I enjoy. I like the old style bluegrass and old time music.

When I say 1989 - This is when I started playing fiddle.I've played banjo since 1976 and guitar and piano way before that! The fiddle was the last instrument that I learned to play. I studied music theory back in the sixties but am a self taught musician. Most refer to it as playing by ear but I like calling it instantaneous improvisation.lol Have videos on bmjones100 you tube
