We are going to start an open jam for old time music in Walhalla, South Carolina at the Oconee Heritage center on the first and third Tuesdays, starting on October 15 at 7pm. This is not a bluegrass format and is targeted to beginners. Sheet music is welcome. We will follow the format as set by the Charlotte Folk Society monthly slow jams. October will be songs in the key of D. All acoustic old time instruments are welcome. If you are an experienced rhythm player, we could really use your help!!
