I mean...I never took German but I've heard both terms used a lot...gootin Morgan (murdered the spelling, like I said, I never took a German class) and heard "Tod" used in funeral things or something somewhere. I was sort of being facetious, especially considering one of the users by that name could be a bot. But apologies in case it would turn out to be a real person... either way, it amazes me that people's parents don't consider names a little more carefully when they have a baby. Lol...of course it ain't yet fault if your mom and dad named you Morning Death...lol. When I knew a lot of Iranians in college, I found out my middle name is a really bad word in the Farsi language...lol...can't expect my mom and dad to have known that one back in the 50s!

Peggy, I thought the same thing. With your shiny new electric guitar, I would have thought you'd be drawn to "member" "Grady Travis," although maybe you're not familiar with Grady Martin.

I had a friend request from the bots, ignored of course, but why do we have to receive these requests in an email. And why can't we delete those stupid-spam comments in our music archives.

As I said earlier, I didn't think friend requests involved email, but either I misrembered or it's changed. If the email comes from the FHO, not the member, they probably won't have your email unless you respond.
You can delete any comment in your music archive. At the end of the date line at the top of the comment is a trash can icon that will take care of it. You can also report it to a moderator.
Someone ought to post this problem to the "Website problems" forum and reference this thread.

I know the email is from FHO, but why not just receive requests on our profile page.

Thanks , I did not know about comment delete in music archive.

No, I never heard of Grady Martin...I mighta just done a stupid thing by accepting a new friend request...it might be a real person...I'm a sucker for just anyone who wants anything to do with me...lol. If you wanna be my friend, you got it, no questions asked. We can iron out the details later. If it turns out you were a bot, another tough lesson learned on an old groundhog's delicate feelings.

Yeah, it looks like you've got a nice little bot for a new "friend." Hope they didn't get your email.
Grady Martin was one of the best, most prolific, guitarists most people have never heard of: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grady_Martin

Here's a little of Grady Martin's playing. In the last clip he's sitting next to Tommy Jackson.

Yeah he's really good! I guess maybe since he was a session player his name never got out that that much, maybe. Nice playing, for sure!
