This is a fine early example of Daniel O. Smith’s violin making. It’s a pleasure to play and it’s got a lot to engage the eye as well. It was originally purchased by a player in North Carolina who played it regularly until deciding to upgrade to a newer violin. She so enjoyed Danny’s violin that she traded in her old one for a new one and happily paid the difference. It has been loved and enjoyed and just needs a new caretaker.
