Update.
Both J4T and AEM work with the new interface. (Brand-name is unpronouncible, maybe mandarin?)
After spending yesterday afternoon trying without tutelage. Then
watching AEM help videos, I went back to simple J4T. No shade on AEM, it's powerful. So powerful it has hundreds of built-in instruments and a real analog synth. Great. So all this wood and wire in my studio is for what? And guess what else? None are a substitute for creativity.
Now I can't remember why I wanted to multitrack record? Band leader sends me titles and phone recordings of the latest stuff. To which I re-record a version on my looper, to play along with. And Bob's yer Uncle.
I'm just a studio in need of a task. If I wait around long enough, something will happen. Oh, and if you get the yen to play bass, keep it to yourself. It's worth learning. It's all worth learning. Go Brewers!
