I learaned this from an old Jeff Goehring recording. No-one I know, knows where he got it from. Instead of the banjo and filddle on that recording, I'm doing it with two fingerpicked mandolins.

Very cool. I love the sound of mandolins- I have always thought of them as plectrum violins anyway. :-)
Little Whiskey is from a fiddler named Nile Wilson of Bucklin, MO. It's on his CD. Both Geoff Seitz and the Volo Bogtrotters recorded it too.

Hey Chirps, don't know how I missed your comment from nearly a year ago... anyway, thanks for the info... I'll have to see if I can find those other recordings... Volo Boogtrotters is one of your groups isn't it?

What a cool and weird tune. I am not sure how I would dance to it, maybe some funky shaking dance with a beer in hand.

Terrific tune and great playing. I found this tune on You Tube and someone credited to Nil Wilson from Missouri. Not sure about it but that is what I found.
