I recorded this a few weeks ago. I pretty much have the notes. Now I just have to figure out how to play it in a more interesting way . . .

Not an easy tune to play and you've pretty much got it nailed. All that's left is to get it up to speed.. ;-).

Thanks for the nod to Bob Walters - one of our greatest fiddlers and not as well known as he should be here on the East coast.

Yup. I'm pushing myself to play it faster because I want the groove that comes with that. Months (years?) from now, when I can keep up with Chirps' YouTube video in a comfortable way, I'll know I have it. : )

Martingeetar tipped me off to "Bob Walters, The Champion: Classic Missouri Valley Fiddling from Dwight Lamb’s Collection" and I'm working on getting a copy.
