I'm pleased with this recording because I think it shows real progress. My bowing is muddy at this speed--something to work on--but I made it through the tune three times, improvising along the way, and I only got WAY off track once. I couldn't have done that a year ago. I have permission to post from the person who plays the backup--thank you!--but he prefers to remain anonymous.

Great job on this fun tune. If I remember correctly it was first performed as a song in 1927. The Library of Congress has a recording of the basic melody. Great improvising.
