I learned this as a kid, but I never found out its name. It resembles Durang's so I named it Mulberry Hornpipe after Mulberry, Ark. near where my dear old dad grew up in a one room log cabin with a dirt floor. The after-beat emphasis makes it one of the best dance tunes I know.

You ever hear a tune called the Grand Hornpipe? George Hawkins and Charlie Kinney played it and it has some similarities to this hornpipe in low section especially.

Nice tune- played well. That would most certainly propel dancers around the floor.

The first part sounds like Spring in the Valley (I think that's the name), but the B part is quite a bit different. Nice playing Glenn. Sharon

I am proud of my daddy...a model of kindness, integrity, and good humor. Hey, Bosco, it would be interesting to hear you play this tune in your style. I would love to hear that!

The second little bit of the A part has a resemblance to the second bit of the A part of Whiskey Before Breakfast. The B part doesn't resemble it at all though.
