Played by Oren "Bill" Bailey of Peralta, NM. He says, "A local fiddler (Glenn Morehouse} is the one that wrote the tune... It has mostly been played by a few local fiddlers." My own first teacher, Bill Daily, had a crude "reminder" notation for this among his papers when he died. Having never heard the tune, I could not figure it out. Then I discovered that Bill had loaned me the CD that he'd learned the tune from and I found out about Oren "Bill" Bailey. An exchange of letters made it possible for me to post this tune here. Thank you, Bill Bailey!

what awonderful job, janet......I think you should consider re assessing your playing proficiency....in my opinion youre much more advanced than a "novice " category....congrats on a fine performance....

This is a great tune being from NM up Pecos way I like it even better love Waltzes favorite things to play.
