We learned this tune from a recording of Virginia fiddler Uncle Charlie Osborne (1890-1992). He recorded it when he was about 90-95 years of age. My friend Tobias play the fiddle and I play a strumstick or dulcitar, which is like a mountain dulcimer, just held differently, and later I have overdubbet a guitar.
