Tres bien, Monsiour Nico! Nice touch with the congas and snare. At one point with the banjo and congas, it reminded me of an Indian Raga. I always enjoy hearing the laughter of musicians after a good jam!

Thanks a lot mudbug, I've taken a look at your page, so coming from a true musician like you your comments are greatly appreciated. Interestingly enough I've found by reading your page, that we begun the fiddle in the same way trying to get the classical grip right first. Today I've just tried the vibrato for the second time and I think I'm getting close to it, even if mine is a mix of hand/wrist/finger vibrato...

Oh, and tell Sylvain to give jazz brushes on a cardboard box a try. Or a washboard. The sound is just a bit softer and won't step on the other instruments. I could hear he was trying to keep the volume at the right level, but it's really tough on a snare. He's got the right spirit, for sure!
