NIce! A lot better tempo than the Freight Hoppers' version -- I can even hear what the tune is!!

I've played this twice (once to hear it and once to verify this) and the 'playcount' isn't working.
Perhaps you could convince Eric to look into this -- I don't feel he trusts me.....

Well, as someone who abandoned the banjohangout before they could kick me off it, I don't think I can be trusted either. Thanks for your kind and generous comment . Partly on account of their playing too fast, partly because I always prefer the sources to the young (and not so young) turks, I don't listen to to folks like the Freight Hoppers. They are fine musicians and all but I like the old folks better. As to Backstep I have had this tune in my head for years and this is what popped out.

As someone who likes to hear the old versions of the old time tunes, which are presumably play closer to the original source, I appreciate your postings greatly.
