Nice job playing the tune. Here in the State of Illinois this tune is known as Crow Creek. I just practiced it last night from the book Dear Old Illinois, and it is track 5 on CD 1 of 3 in the triple-CD collection of the same name.
If you throw a crow in the creek, do you reckon it will ruffle his drawers?

... and the A and B parts are reversed. Interesting. There are a few extra bow shuffles and a nice cadence at the end of your A and B parts that I like. Of course I must now adopt, adapt and (maybe) improve those good ideas for my own version. Thanks for the post!

Thanks for the info! Ruffled Drawers isn't an Aussie tune, but is to be found in the Portland Selection of tunes connected to Contra Dance. In general, contra dance seems to be conducted at a somewhat faster pace than traditional Oz bush-dancing, but I'm getting there! Got a bit of work (hard yakka, in Oz-speak) to do on rhythm in particular, but with a little help from my friends........
