This one is my version after a few months of figuring it out and playing it a lot. I slowed down Bruce Greene's version, and I also listened to the Luke Mercier file posted on my music page. I can do better without a microphone in my face, honest! I miss a few beats and add a few extra shuffles that shouldn't be there but this is an honest example at my playing on June 17, 2009.

That's fantastic, Brian! I love that Five Miles of Ellum Wood album of Bruce Green's, but haven't been brave enough to try learning any of the tunes. When I do, I'll probably start with my favorite: Trouble on My Mind.

Sounds great. I s there anyway you could indicate the fiddle tuning and/or the key that the tune is played in.

Thanks slimman! I'm tuned GDGD. Bruce Greene says it's AEAE but he's tuned lower than standard tuning on his cd so, it's closer to GDGD.
