I enjoyed listening to this very much - thanks for uploading it.
Good banjo playing, good fiddling and good singing - an unbeatable combination.
I especially liked the bowing on the A-part.
Where'd this tune come from?

Thanks, I did the parts on a four track. I learned it off of a Piney creek Weasels tape. A band from Sacramento.

Wow - it actually sounds like two people playing together and "feeding" off one another.
I've heard of the Piney Creek Weasels but haven't listened to'em.
Guess I will...

Let's see: you learned the whole thing by ear by lifting it off a CD, and then you did the multi-track recording yourself. You, sir, are an exemplary fellow, a pattern for us to follow. Keep up the inspirational work!

Thank you for your kind words. I hope to upload a couple of other things after I get a better way to create the mp3's.

Good one. I love searching out new old fiddle tunes. Is this original or oldtime? Have you got the lyrics anywhere? Would love to get the lyrics to add this tune to our program if you don't mind.

Which Weasels CD is that on? I thought I had all their CDs but I don't have this tune.
