A friend of mine and I played these French-Canadian tunes in December 2008, for the postlude at church. This is a separate recording from later that day, but we had the entire congregation clapping and stomping during the service. As we finished, one of the older gentlemen in the congregation turned to his neighbor and exclaimed, "Well that was certainly lively, wasn't it!?" :-) This is also with about 2 more months of playing under my belt than in the earlier recordings (Planxty Irwin, etc.). The ending is a little wonky, but other than that, I think I improved...

Great Fiddle! Very intricate and rousing. I couldn't stop tapping my foot.
