Liked this one as well - probably done "cleaner" that Kessinger did it. BTW, that's meant to be a compliment... (;-))
Not enough people, in my opinion, appreciate Kessinger's playing. I've never really understood why this is. Thankfully though he's still appreciated in his native state and was widely appreciated - and imitated - throughout the Mid West and Texas.

I firmly hold to the believe that the true sign of a master of old time fiddle or banjo is the ability to make the instrument cluck like a chicken. I fear this is a fast disappearing talent. You have struck a blow for chicken pickers everywhere. Great fiddling.
