When I was down east this past summer , I picked up this CD in a small music store In Nova Scotia...This Is a tune I picked up off the Cd...Hope you like It Merry Christmas

Beautiful playing. Interestingly, it sounds just like a Scottish tune called "Sweetness of Mary". Check it out at:

In the tunes section do a search for The Sweetness of Mary. That should work.

You've been doing some serious woodshedding in the past month
that's a HUGE improvement over "Blue Skies"!
I know how hard it can be getting your chops back after selling/trading off your fiddle- I was fiddle-less for 15 years.
Your touch on the bow is excellent- as you keep at it, your left hand will get more and more in synch with it, and your intonation will get clearer and more confident. At the rate you're progressing, you will probably be doing some amazing stuff in a couple of months!
