A slow (think: funeral precession) version of Flora's Eighth demonstrating the nice tone of the key of C as cross-tuned. Wish I could say the same for the quality of the player! Ivar

Good job Ivar. The title should read "Floras' 8th". The Allen Street String Band recorded this. Bill Rintz's source was Floras Lamb, an old-time fiddler that lived in Springfield, IL. Floras had a band in the 1970s called "Sangamon County Hoedowners". Floras was known for having very unique versions of most tunes & this is an example of one of them.
