An old childrens song. Some professor has tracked it down to 1913, which probably means it goes way back in the 1800'th. I'm sorry, no fiddle again. I'm mainly a guitarplayer and singer, but it's old-time. This is only me on two voices and a guitar.

Nice job. I've got a recording of Jerry Garcia and David Grisman doing this one.
It's a great song. I'd say your version's right up there with there's.

Thank you very much for the kind comment. I love that song. It's bothe a song and a fiddle tune, and as far as I know it comes from the Ozark mountains, back in the 1800'th. Now that you are here, shouldn't we be friends here in the hangout? We beginners on the fiddle must stick together :)
