Two fiddles with guitar, banjo and bass right behind them. It's saturday morning, B&W tv set with foil wrapped around the rabbit-ear antenna. Farmer Brown is chasing or being chased by cartoon mice, as usual. Archie & Mehitabel gossip about their distant grand-kin, Pinky & The Brain. Some things never change, forever in re-runs.

Great job.  That's what they call it in my part of the country too.

Okay, so you've been playing since 1933, and my screen says you're eight years old?  Hmmmmm.  Nonetheless, this song sounds like fun, like one I've heard before and just sat back and enjoyed at a few of the fiddle jams.  Is it a popular tune?  Nice work.

Hi Curt n Fiddlebob Glad y'all liked it. 'Raggedy Ann' is another title for 'Ragtime Annie.' Yes, it's a very popular tune. Every autumn there's a fiddle contest in Lyons, PA. At the end of the day all participants get on stage to play this song en masse. You ain't heard nuttin' till you've heard about 70 fiddlers all playing Raggedy Ann/Ragtime Annie. It's been known to set off earthquake sensors & shatter windows within a three-county radius.
