I don't know if that's the actual title of this tune, but it's the words sung on the chorus of the tune, which I learned from a cassette copy of a Fiddling Arthur Smith LP. At the beginning and end of the tune I applied the 'scratchy old record' effect available on the Boss BR900cd recorder.

Nice effects - I thought you crossfaded an archival recording with your own! :o)
Are you playing your no-pointed fiddle on either of these sound clips?

Hi Genevieve Most of these recordings are the cornerless fiddle, but a few are the lefty fiddle made from parts of three righty fiddles. You can tell by the key. The cornerless is usually tuned DGDG (high to low) tho occasionally normal-tuned. The 'cornered' lefty fiddle is almost always tuned EAEA, ie. highstrung. So if a tune is in A or D, it's probably the 'cornered' fiddle. If G or C, the cornerless. Thanks to all who've responded with such kind words. -Jane
