The accompaniment is much better than the original's. There is no salvaging the lyrics (moribundly corny), but they were worth putting up with for the sake of hearing the accompaniment, and the banjo and fiddle breaks.

Thanks, as for the vocals, i admit I ain't no singer! I ain't got no one to play with but myself, and in a way thats some kind of blessing, i can only blame myself and when I want to get upset with the banjo player all I have to do is look in a mirror!!

Kind of reminds me of the "Cheap Suit Serenaders".
