A sorely used Czech shop violin I got from a friend gets a makeover by a rank amature...ME! After all was said and done, I had to fit a bridge, do some peg work, re-set the sound post, and do the bodywork. The pegs are still a bit sketchy, and I would like to put in some planetary pegs or PegHeads in the future, but they hold and do the job well enough to play with. All for under $200, price including the fiddle, the strings, and bow re-hair.
