Cool photo, Tony. This is a previous year, right? You don't have snow yet, do you?

Mudbug - Actually from a few years ago, and it was a friend that took the pictures (I have several). Wish it had been me. We have seen a few ourselves, out away from the house, but never had a camera handy at the time.
And Russell - I'm not sure that they are protected. When moose is in season, I'm pretty sure they are fair game - same as any others. But I might be wrong about that - I'm not much into hunting game. I do know there is a kind of understood respect for something so rare. I don't know of any being harvested. It's not like you can say you didn't know - or it was an accident.
Trying to find a few photos of calves that were in the back yard last week. Really neat to see them.

An Alaskan NOT into hunting....you may be a rarity, even your ex-governor Sarah..... Can't tell from tha pic. Tony, but true albinos have pink eyes. They ARE protected by some state wildlife laws I believe. Nice pic. .....their certainly good eating too.

The moose must be getting smarter. Now they are trying to 'blend in' with the snow.. Evolution at work.
