I found this Sharp-tailed hawk on the afternoon of 1/4/08 after my wife had come home from errands. It was trapped in our screened porch (probably went in after a junco or other "lunch".

Awesome bird! The tail markings are simular to hawks around Georgia, but that's the only resemblence. Our hawks are very large, never seen a sharp-tailed hawk. You try holding one of ours before taming it and you would be eat alive!
