This is a 5-string violin I made for Tania Elizabeth. Tania plays with "The Duhks" and they were nominated for a Grammy in 2007

Hey Barry,
Wow, very nice work. What kind of wood is this for the neck? Walnut? Ash?
You have another picture of your corner and the where the purfling comes together. Your work is very sharp and precise. Nice.
Welcome to FiddleHangout. I'm fairly new here myself and I'm an amateur fiddle maker so seeing professionaly work such as yours is always an inspiration.
Take care,
Kubasa

Thanks for the compliment. That is African Bubinga. That is the5-string violin I made for Tania Elizabeth with the "Duhks". Darol anger played this violin and wanted one so I am in the construction process for Darol's fiddle now. But I must say this may be the last "Bubinga" violin I make because the wood is so hard it is extremely difficult to carve.

Wow, that grain pattern is gorgeous. That is going to be quite a 5-string instrument. Nice work. What eye candy! I'm getting motivated to post some pictures of work that some luthiers I know have done which I have photographed.

The violin in the photo is complete and already delivered to the client. In fact it is in the studio now as the "Duhk's" are making a new CD.
Thank you for your kind words. As soon as I get the current Bubinga 5-string a little further along I will take some photos and post them. Currently the ribset is complete and I have just started the rough archings of the back.

This might be valuable to certain clients, yet if you just post in a couple of classes, it might be better to indicate your meta watchwords on a post explicit premise. Attempt to be engaged with your watchwords, go for the awkwardmedia.ca gold 6 catchphrases for every page, although you can determine more meta catchphrases assuming you want.
