You bet ! Sac-a-lait, as they say in Lousiania, or crappie around here. Best eatin' fish I've found on the river. Don't get me wrong - I like catfish too, but to me the crappie are the tastiest. That's my Dad. Snapped a picture of the catch of the day. We caught about a dozen that day and these were the keepers. We get some pretty nice slabs up on the Tn. River - sometimes 2 to 3 pounds. Makes for some very nice fillets. We usually catch a few here and there and I put 'em back in the freezer, and when I get enough together I have a big fish fry and invite everyone around. Do y'all have crappie over there in AR? I know I've been on a few Trout fishin' trips on the White River. That's something we don't have around here.

Twin-Lakes area.......Bulls-shoals on tha W. , Northfork on tha E. Bass, crappie & catfish abound. White river wit rainbow & sum brown trout fer tha takin. YUUUMMMMM.

Been on the White River. Never been to Bull Shoals. Is that anywhere close to Mt. View?
