Jim Booker/Doc Roberts tune. I learned it from John Harrod and John Masters. Kelly Gilbert uses a high part in Em that I sometimes throw in for a 3rd strain. This version is just 2 strains. Shippingport was an island in the Ohio River at Louisville and was a French enclave until the mid 19th century. GDAE

Here's a tune I learned from Erskine Morris (1913-1997) from Douglastown, Quebec on the edge of the Gaspé coast. A neighbour of his told me that this tune was brought to the area by French players who had come down from the North Coast and would play this on his Dad's porch.
