From my CD on Taller Dog Music called "Darcie Deaville Plays the Fiddle and Sings." It's a north American traditional CD. This is a trad fiddle tune- or PD- in cross tuning. A big drum, similar to a djymbe, (but not) accompanies, as well as my Octoblaster- which is an electric octave mandolin- one of a kind, built for me.

On the CD "Livin' on the Lucky Side" on Taller Dog Music. This is a fiddle tune with words I wrote on Halloween morning in my back yard in Austin, TX. It's bluegrassy, but not traditional bluegrass.

On the CD "Livin' on the Lucky Side", by Darcie Deaville, on Taller Dog Music, 2007, "Poison Ivy" was written in about as much time as it takes to listen to it! The genre is Americana-Another song with the tuning CCGC on the fiddle. If anyone wants to know what the other unusual sounding instrument is, email me. Another one of a kind, I decided to call it a Johnny.

This is me playing the fiddle and singing at the same time, no other instruments. I put the genre as old time- it's known as either a bluegrass or folk song, depending on who's playing it. Mine's kind of in the middle of bluegrass and old time.

On the CD Darcie Deaville Plays the Fiddle and Sings (Taller Dog Music) 2003. I learned this song from Tracy Schwartz, he played it on the banjo, and I do it on the fiddle in CCGC tuning.
