From my solo album, "No Apologies". Named after a little town in the Appalachains near where I grew up. The Nantahala River runs nearby, and you can definitely find some killer whitewater rafting there... This melody reminded me of that, and of the celtic influences in both the song, and in that area of the country. Commissioned by Sierra Hull and Ron Block to write an instrumental for her Rounder Records debut, this is what I ended up with. It was a BLAST to write this (on mandolin) and then see it through to the final product on her project.
