Don't know. It was a hand made one I got when I was in grade school (full size) but it has a small crack at one of the f holes and my teacher got it for me at a discount (I assume) She tested it said it played well, but it has no name that I can find.

I took "violin" from third grade to 7th grade when I joined the Jr. High Orchestra and couldn't keep up and quite. Next run in with a violin was when I lived for a short time in North Miami with a bunch of people who were studio engineer and musicians. One was a "fiddle" player. I don't remember his name but he was my age and I thought that if I had kept it up, maybe --- nah. Anyway, I went in the army, went to Vietnam (artillary) and lost my hearing in May 2002, overnight. I use a hearing aid and can hear some with that. Took up guitar in late 2005 and have written several songs and performed in local coffee houses and at the open mic at the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival. I've toyed with the old violin now turned fiddle a few times in the last year but it is not as accepted in the house. After all a mess up on the guitar is only still a strum but a mess up on a fiddle is the cat screaming for his missing gut. But I've got it out again and have also taken up banjo, both because I have songs that I am working on that need both and I think I should be able to play a semblance of what I have in my head.
